Belarusian and Russian centre for cell-technology to open in Minsk
Lyudmila Dubovskaya, the Director of the Institute for Biophysics and Cell Engineering at the Belarus National Academy of Sciences, has told journalists that the International Scientific Medical Centre for Cell-technology will become operational in Minsk in 2015. She said that the Institute of Biophysics and Cell Engineering is currently working on two important research and practical projects.

Bashar al-Assad meets with the Deputy Minister of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs
Bashar al-Assad met with the Deputy Minister of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and thanked Russia for giving support to Syria in combating terrorist attacks. They discussed issues concerning the situation in Syria. On behalf of Syrians, the Head of State voiced appreciation for Russia's stance in support of Syria in the face of the vicious attacks and terrorism which are being backed by Western and Arab forces. Assad pointed out that such a stance has raised hopes for a new roadmap for the world balance of power.

Vzaimodeistvie-2013 (Interaction-2013) military exercises of the Joint Rapid Deployment Forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation start today
The press service of the Ministry of Defence of Belarus reports that the ‘Interaction-2013’ exercise of the Joint Rapid Response Forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation has started in Belarus today. Specifically, the commanders of the Collective Rapid Deployment Force have assembled and command post rehearsals have taken place. The exercises themselves will be held between 20 - 25 September.

Cooperation is the basis of Union State security
