Atoms for peace in Belarus

A licence to build the second power-generating unit of the Belarusian NPP could be granted before the end of August. MAZ buses for Irkutsk

23 buses manufactured at the Minsk Automobile Plant have been supplied to Irkutsk. The vehicles are: 13 MAZ 206 buses and 10 MAZ 103 buses (with Mercedes engines) which conform to the Euro-4 and Euro-5 ecological standards respectively.

Russian army launches tank biathlon competitions

Starting in 2014 the Russian army will host tank biathlon competitions on a regular basis. The current competition between tank crews is being organised in Alabino, near Moscow on 17 August 2013. “Steal Belmondo” comedy by Belarusfilm Studio to take part in the ”Kinishok” Festival

The Belarusfilm Studio has reported to BELTA that its comedy “Steal Belmondo” (directed by Nikolay Knyazev in 2012) will form part of the non-competitive programme of full-length feature films “Kino na Ploshchadi” at the 22nd “Kinoshok” Open Film Festival for the CIS countries and Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
